Interplanetary Shock (or CME Arrival)
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Location: Earth
Event Time: 2021-06-20T11:21Z ( DSCOVR: PLASMAG )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
DSCOVR: PLASMAG
ACE: SWEPAM
ACE: MAG
Activity ID: 2021-06-20T11:21:00-IPS-001 (version 1)
Quality of ICME Signature: 0 (weak signatures)
Note: The CME signatures for this arrival are very weak. They may correspond to the CME first visible in the coronagraphs around 2021-06-15T04:24Z. This CME was associated with a filament eruption observed in SDO AIA 304 near S22E12 starting around 2021-06-14T20:30Z. Due to the longitude of the CME is was uncertain if a glancing blow to Earth was possible. The CME is also slow (~279 km/s).
